Power Cross Big Weekend!!

This weekend is a big weekend for Power Cross. We will have a few members of the Athletes 2 Champions organization coming to visit Statesville. We will be looking for potential land sites for the Power Cross facility. On Monday, June 2nd they have arranged for all of the Power Cross Boys ,who passed their end of grade exams, to visit the Carolina Panther's practice on Monday. They will get to hang out with the team and visit the Bank of America Stadium. This is a great experience for the boys. We will post some pictures next week.
Then Monday night we will have our last season baseball game. After the game we will be holding a press event to announce to the community our goals and plans for the facility. We will also be having a free Hot-Dog dinner. We hope to have a great turn out at the ball park. We'll post plenty of pictures from the day next week! We'll keep you posted!!

PC Baseball

The Power Cross Baseball team was able to avenge it's only loss of the season last night. The boys won with a 10-5 victory. First year player, Jalen Hill, hit his first ball out of the park! The entire team had the bats working last night. T.J., Ausar, and QTrey also hit balls that made it to the fence, but not quite over. Caleb laid down a perfect bunt, and ended up with a home run off of errors. The team is learning everyday! We were so happy to see them all displaying their hard work on the field.

PIT Training

We had our first experience with PIT Training last week( Power Cross Intensive Training). The boys had a great time. They were exhausted after their first session. We focused on speed and agility training, and also a little teamwork. We can't wait to see the results as the training continues.
